Email QR codes

A QR code that opens an email

Every linkto.email link comes with a QR code, and because the link is a normal HTTPS URL, most phone cameras open it. Scan it and the email app comes up with your address, subject and message already there — nothing to type, nothing to misspell. Put it on a flyer, a business card, a table tent or a packaging insert.

Where an email QR code earns its place

    Print, posters and packaging

One scan turns a printed page into an email. It works well on flyers, table tents, packaging inserts and event signage.

    No typing, no typos

The address, subject and body arrive with the scan, so nobody mistypes your address or forgets to say which product they are asking about.

Free QR, polished with a permanent link

The QR code is free: it shows up with every link, and with a free account you can download it as a PNG. A permanent link or Pro adds custom colors and SVG downloads, so it drops into a print file at any size.

    Make your email QR code

    1. 1Create the link with your address, the subject and the message you want people to send.
    2. 2The QR code shows up with your link as soon as you create it; sign in to download it as a PNG from your dashboard — colors and SVG come with a permanent link or Pro.
    3. 3Print it or place it, then track every scan as a click in your dashboard.

    Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a plain mailto: QR code?

A mailto: QR code has the address baked into it: once printed you can't change it, and you can't tell how many people scanned it. This one encodes a short HTTPS link, so with a permanent link or Pro you can edit the email behind it later, and every scan is counted.

    Is the QR code free?

Yes, the basic QR code is free for everyone, including the no-account test link: it appears on screen as soon as you create the link, ready to scan or share. To download it as a PNG, sign in and use your dashboard. A permanent link or Pro adds custom colors and SVG downloads for print.

Can I use it in print if links expire?

A test link expires 2 hours after it's created. For print, use a permanent link (one-time payment) or a link on a Pro account — those are the ones that never expire.

    Create your email QR code

Generate the link and its QR code in seconds — no sign-up needed to try one. For print, buy a permanent link — custom URL, colors, SVG and full analytics included — or go Pro to get it on every link.
